The Gladstone bag, or “Doctor’s bag,” was once a workingman’s asset. During the 19th century, working male professionals from Doctor’s, Lawyer’s, and various professionals carried tools and necessary work within their bags. The displayed images are from the Louis Vuitton S/S 12 Fashion Show; in 2012 the Gladstone bag has reinvented itself for the everyday woman.
How-to Carry the Gladstone Bag:

Culturally speaking, the Spanish (Spain) word Nini is used to describe a “young, rebellious & global generation only interested in partying all day and everyday.” Sak Noel (Isaac Mahmood Noell) released Paso (The Nini Anthem) earlier this year, this song has become one of my pre-party favorites.

Hello fellow “Muser’s” I recently found a new take on Lana Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans” by DJ Kris Menace. Menace incorporates synthesized beats, and Lana’s AMAZING vocals. Wait until the hook around (2:42) its pretty wicked!!
Philadelphia native “Santigold” previously known by the former “Santogold” is due to release her upcoming album “Master of My Make Believe.” Her upcoming LP depicts the following genres which were quite influential during her upbringing; ranging from Reggae, R&B, New Age, to popular Nigerian folk and pop music. The release date of her upcoming album is May 1st (USA) and April 23 (UK). Santigold is poised for success once her upcoming album completes the “transformation” of her image. Who knows maybe in the near future she would collaborate with M.I.A.

We’ve had such fantastic weather in Florida of late (low humidity, abundant sunshine, clear skies) it makes one wonder if they’ve been transplanted to SoCal. With regards, to this fantastic weather phenomenon I’m dedicating this post to Phantom Planet’s — California. Featured in 2001, Phantom Planet’s hit song California was the theme song on the dramatic teen saga “The O.C.”.
For Spring 2012, bird prints are in season. This trend can take several forms from retro-glam, to hot and sassy. For a color guide gather inspiration from the film “Black Swan” infusing cool to warm colors (Silver, Grey, Black, Red) or think bright colors trending from a Japanese kimono (Plum, Rose, Bright Yellow, Pink, Gold, Lime Green,Tangerine). We shall see how this trend takes off during season; just as the popular phrase “Birds of a feather flock together.”

I have officially relinquished myself from Facebook this evening. I’m on a personal journey of being connected to “friends” in the reality not virtually. To commemorate this moment I’m dedicating the following posting to Vanessa Carlton’s “I Don’t Wanna Be A Bride.” The song has several meanings and undertones, such as love, relationships, and just not giving a damn.

They could “see” Russia from their hometown
Based out of Portland, Oregon yet having roots in Sarah Palin’s home residence of Wasilla, Alaska; rock band Portugal. The Man released their latest album “In the Mountain In the Cloud” on July 19, 2011. I recently discovered this group and fell in love with their song “Sleep Forever.” The group is quite impressive since they synthesize violin with electric guitar into the main chorus.
